ObjectiveMy objective is to explore all avenues of creative interpretive belly dance. To apply my experience and my ability towards a goal that will bring strength and beauty into the lives of my students and fellow belly dancers. Also a focused attention on the understanding of foreign ideas associated with Lebanese, Turkish and Egyptian music there bye giving my students a much more expansive opportunity to fulfill their personal dreams and enjoying the ancient art of belly dance.Qualifications
I have been studying the art form of belly dance for 3 YEARS and free style for over 14 years. Studying under such wonderful performers such as SuzannaDel Vecchio, Sema Yildiz, Hale Sultan, Reyhan Tuzsuz, and Egyptian master teacher Morocco just to name a few of the dancers who touched my life. I have been giving In home personalized workshops for over 5 years. Many live performances . From ladyfest.2008 yellow springs street fair ladyfest 2009.2010, to the masque a Dayton dance club(a benefit for ladyfest.) many country clubs in Dayton. Theses are just a few of the most recent events.
EducationStarted jazz and tap from the age of 7, Arthur Murray dance studio. Also some ballet, flamenco, salsa, and most importantly Turkish, Egyptian, gypsy, oriental, and expressive interpretive belly dance most recently incorporating my violin playing in gypsy dances at the ohio Renaissance festival 2009. Relevant ExperienceFrom salsa to belly dance the union of the dance brings us to a higher place which allows a rise of the spirit in unity with the expressive dance form. My travels to such festivals Alturka, Istanbul has allowed me the education needed to bring an expand this amazing art form from its homelands to the united states. In my travels I have had the opportunities to grow in my ability and in my joy in relating other foreign cultures there by giving me what I need to teach this amazing art form called gypsy belly dance. I WAS INDEED A STUDENT AT KIRA'S OASIS FROM 2008 TO MARCH OF 2010.AND DID PARTICIPATE.In open dance performance every month for over two years,and i still have my monthly student punch cards.
the lies and the personal attack on my public reputation are unacceptable. It is obvious that she welcomed me in like a friend ,and was a mentor to my learning this dance form. My public record of video footage is more than enough proof that i was indeed a student and a lovely dancer at the oasis for almost three years.She was encouraging to me in my study of this art form.and did not mention any problem with my tags or my titles of my video,s until this year .When she saw i was starting to give back this beauty to the world by teaching ,I did indeed teach at the oasis,not under the value of a pay check !many girls and women would come up to me and ask me to teach them what i was doing with the art form dance! and did perform for open dance every month with out fail .i believed in her as a mentor a teacher .as a lovely dancer,but now i am so sorry i tagged any thing with the name Kira on it ,i think and feel this whole thing smacks of a real set up , i will indeed remove her name Kira from all the videos ,and for the disgraceful attack on my blood line . my religion .Shows the world that she is a hypocrite she attacks the very thing she teaches ,i performed on behalf of Kira oasis 2008 lady fest on the advice of her personally .i performed two nights and got lovely videos ,from the performance
